Egg Biryani 


  • 4 hard boiled eggs
  • 3 cardamom seeds 
  • 3 bay leaves 
  • 1 cinnamon stick 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 
  • 3-4 whole cloves 
  • 1 large onion 
  • 4 fresh or dried red peppers 
  • 1/2 tbs garlic paste
  • 1/2 tbs ginger paste
  • 1 plum tomato 
  • 1/4 cup cilantro 
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric 
  • 2 tsp garam masala 
  • 1/4 cup Greek coconut yogurt 
  • Half lemon juiced  
  • 1.5 cup basmati after soaking cooked 

Cook rice and let cool.

Boil eggs and peel. 

In a wok heat oil and add eggs. 

Once golden add in whole spices.

Then add onions and peppers.

Cook till onions are slightly brown/gold.

Add garlic and ginger paste. 

Toss in tomato and cilantro. 

Add turmeric, chili and garam masala. 

Cook for 2 mins then add yogurt and lemons juice.

Cook until the sauce thickens. 

Add basmati rice. 

Toss together. 

Serve and enjoy.
